A Special Thanks from the Board of Directors
The Cobleskill Golf & Country Club Board of Directors recently sent a letter of recommendation and heartfelt thanks to Bear Briggs. The letter read, in part:
“In addition to your superintendent responsibilities, you took on the complete project management of the irrigation system installation. You coordinated with the equipment supplier and worked closely with the installation contractor. You obtained the road cut permit and coordinated with National Grid and our electrical contractor to secure all required power and electrical hookups.
Furthermore, while all of this construction was taking place and water for irrigation was limited, you and your staff managed to keep the course in excellent, playable condition. The Board believes your contributions and effort on this project went far beyond your normal responsibilities.”
